In Germany the same technical system as in China is used, so you can use the same mobile phones as in China, but of course the mobile phone needs to be cleared for international calls by your provider before your departure. We recommend to do this, so that you can use your mobile phone when travelling to the companies on Monday morning. In case of any problems you could easily reach your mentor or eurochinacom. The fees for international calls are very high, so we suggest to afterwards get a German prepaid card for calls inside Germany for the length of your traineeship. Since etp students arrive in Germany at the weekend unfortunately there won't be the possiblity to get a prepaid card right away.

Free internet access in Germany is not as common as in China, in particular in smaller towns. Even at work or at home there is not always internet available. To get a regular access to the internet you might need to go to an internet café or ask friends or colleagues.

Only master students enrolled and pursuing studies at one of the selected universities cooperating with eurochinacom can apply for a eurochinacom traineeship. Companies inviting students for a traineeship provide for an adequate accommodation. Three to five weeks before the traineeship starts the companies are asked for details about the accommodation. Subsequently each participant gets informed by eurochinacom about the furnishing of his / her accommodation. The ready furnished accommodation is usually equipped with blanket, linen, tableware and cookware.
